Last week I was fortunate to shoot with the spirited and expressive, "Amedine", a lady with a passion for the very physical theatre of Corporeal Mime. As an unfit photographer, I find myself continually surrounded by people of such energy that I tire out far faster then they do… specially when trying to wrangle a ringflash and a "Bertha" (My 5D). It's always worth it. Far more fun than any other company I know of, thecourageous staff posed 3 pantomime Tableau's which were then composited into a final, glorious landscape. I've always wanted to take pictures of beautiful models being splatted against a wall but for Lisa, this seemed to come as naturally as giving dough a smack-down. Lisa's is like a tic tac, small but powerful, so shooting her against the saturated purple wall with bare flash in her similar coloured summer dress, face cut out and framed by her black hair … twas a no brainer.
