Far more fun than any other company I know of, thecourageous staff posed 3 pantomime Tableau's which were then composited into a final, glorious landscape. Definitely one of the most fun groups of people i've ever photographed, i'm sure many of them were surprised at exactly how brilliant actors they actually are!Geeks:I was worried that the 5D would be on the edge of it's resolving power for such a big group, but diving into 3 groups both allowed me to increase resolution, have a fairly consistent backlight and only took around 5 hours to retouch and composite.3x Broncolour Monoblocks into polyboards1x Broncolour Mono and x3 Chimera softbox2 x Poly below the camera for fillLisa Oland | Model, pastry chef, hilairous. There've been many absolute stars i've met this year through various visual adventures and amongst the most fun is lil' LIsa Oland, now a good friend of mine and one of the best things about LA. I've always wanted to take pictures of beautiful models being splatted against a wall but for Lisa, this seemed to come as naturally as giving dough a smack-down. Lisa's is like a tic tac, small but powerful, so shooting her against the saturated purple wall with bare flash in her similar coloured summer dress, face cut out and framed by her black hair … twas a no brainer. Bright and colourful.EPIC PETE | APETEALYPSEIt's that man again! Voiceover man, Pete Nottage(click for link!), Earl Grey, Jaffa Cake, Yanni playing in the background and some lighting help from Kieran Ridgers. What better setting for some hilarious epic posing for Pete's fantasty-art-shoot. I LOVE shooting with Pete; ever the professional, Pete comes with bags of creativity and levity and we have a once yearly tradition of shooting whatever comes to mind. These images were shot in preparation for some grand day-after-tomorrow scale apocalyptic images. Speaking of which, I think we're due our (161st recently predicted) Apocalypse tomorrow; friday 21st, 2012. I sure hope so! Better stock up on cider. 600W Fresnel backlights, 300W Elinchrom Scanlite for Key, Reflector for fill. Galmour Fan. 2 channel masking passes in Pshop. Explosions.
